Show Notes

Asians who grew up in the West, or as a minority, love it when we see people who look like us in the media. What's not to celebrate, right? They're representing us on a big platform! BUT, what happens if those who are supposed to represent us, do not? Worse, what happens when the person who’s supposed to represent us stands up for a cause that goes against our values? How much value/weight should we put on movies, music, pop culture in general? Tune in for our takes on Disney's adaptation of Mulan.

What's your story? Hit us up and tell us about it as we'd love to hear it!
And if you have a burning question, email us at [email protected]. Don't worry, you can always "ask for a friend"!
